New to the platform? Start with How the platform works and Roles and responsibilities. Every workflow is drawn out under How EOSB works.
As the platform administrator you run the EOSB platform for everyone else. You register the organisations that take part, set employers up so they can start, act for employers when they need help, pay out approved benefits, and manage who can sign in.

Register employers

Submit an employer’s registration and documents for the regulator to verify.

Set up and activate employers

Create the employer’s EOSB trust, appoint its trustee and fund manager, confirm its bank account and activate it.

Work on an employer's behalf

Register and update employees, and decide on employee record changes.

Register trustees and fund managers

Submit official and independent providers for verification, and see the trusts each one serves.

Pay out benefits

Pay employees whose final settlement the trustee has approved.

Monthly accrual

Check each month-end calculation ran, and clear what it could not calculate.

Approvals monitor

See every decision the platform is waiting on, and remind whoever holds it up.

Users, benchmarks and PSPs

Create user accounts, maintain investment benchmarks and register payment service providers.

How an employer comes on board

1

You register the employer

Fill in the registration form and upload the certificate of registration and tax evidence. See Register an employer.
2

The regulator verifies it

The registration goes to MELSS. When the regulator approves it, the employer gets a user account and shows under Employment as Verified inactive.
3

You set the employer up

Create the EOSB trust, appoint the trustee and fund manager, and confirm the trust bank account. See Set up and activate an employer.
4

You activate it

Once every readiness check passes, activate the employer. They can then register employees and fund their trust.
Trustees and fund managers come on board the same way: you register them, the regulator verifies them, and they can then be appointed to employer trusts.

Find what you need

On a new platform, in this order:
  1. Create user accounts for the other administrators and the regulator officers.
  2. Register the official trustee and fund manager and have the regulator verify them.
  3. Create benchmarks and register payment service providers.
  4. Start registering employers.
