These two pages tell you, and the trustee, whether the portfolio is invested as agreed and how it is performing.
Where: Allocations and Portfolio ROI in the menu. Before you start: create the month-end asset register snapshot; ROI is built from snapshots. A benchmark comparison needs a benchmark assigned by the platform administrator.
Allocations
Select Allocations and choose a Portfolio.
Each asset type shows its Policy %, Actual %, the Variance and the value held. Set an As-at date and select Refresh variance, or choose a Historical variance snapshot. Select Create variance snapshot at each month-end. Variance trend shows the variance over time.
A large positive variance means you hold less of that type than the policy requires — for example, after writing off an asset. Rebalance, or agree a new policy with the trustee.
Portfolio ROI
Select Portfolio ROI, choose the Portfolio and Month.
The tabs show the return Against benchmark, the Active return, each Asset class contribution, the Capital bridge from opening to closing value, and any Restatements.
Each month is published and locked automatically about a week after it ends, once its five-business-day window for late entries has closed. A new portfolio shows No published months yet until its first month is published.
